I just got my hair cut in a bob. From the front it looks great, but from the back it looks sawed-off, too blunt at the ends. It has no bend. The length is about mid-cheek. I don't want to get it stacked. Is there any way to keep the length of my bob, but soften the back ends so it doesn't look so chopped off?
How can I get a good bob cut without a sawed off look?
you can get very subtle layers only right at the bottom that will make it naturally "turn" under...
They won't be obvious enough to look "stacked" but it will lighten the bottom so it's not so heavy and make it how you want it..
also- use a skinny straightening iron and angle the ends in...it gets them to turn in slightly without looking like you used a curling iron

go to a good hairdressers and ask them to soften it.

yeah, just go to a stylist and tell them what you want, or get them to put really light layers in the back. i know a girl who has the haircut you describe, and the long layers look awesome

To take away the choppy look you need to get it textured... It's a way of cutting so you dont get that hard core straight across cut look!!
