I need help desperately with styling my bob!?

i had my hair cut into a long bob. it is short at the back (to bottom of my neck), and longer at the front (to my shoulders), it's layered to make the style less heavy. When i blow dry my hair it looks crap. i haven't got a clue! it sticks out at the back i just can't get it straight and sleek...is there anyone who can advise me what products to put on my hair and how to style it so it doesn't look like a mop?!...

I need help desperately with styling my bob!?

ok heres the remedy:

* after washing use a styling creme AND a smoothing serum

(a little dab will do) on wet hair.

* when you dry, work in sections making sure all water is blown from hair. dont rely on just the blowdryer to style your hair,, its a drying tool, not a shaping tool

* when your hair is dry, run (again- in sections here) with a flat iron, slightly curving in in at the ends OR a garge barrel curling iron to give it some bend. following with some glossing creme or whatever you choose, and thats it.

use friz ease products for straight hair, and just flat iron each day

Use styling cream before you blow dry and work it in.

Try some mousse and a round brush.

I have this same style. I use Big Sexy Hair root pump, a round brush and a product called sexy straight hair.I dry my hair using the round bush on the ends to curl the under and to shape the front. I lift up the rest in sections and dry from the roots out to give it a little lift or body.

Next time you get it cut, have them style it and watch closely and ask questions.
