I have a long bob and have very fine curly hair that I usually wear in a style but my bangs have broke off due to over processing now they are 1inch in length, What hair styles can do ?(NO GEL,MOUSE,OR HAIR SPRAY)

You could use some bobby pins or clips to pin/clip the hair back so nobody can tell that it's so short and leave the rest of your hair down. Kind of the way how Nicole from PCD sometimes wears her hair but I think your hair is probably shorter than hers.
You could just try to blend them in with the rest of your hair by blow drying it so it falls and mixes with the rest of your hair near the side of your face.
No gel, mousse, or hair spray? Then there's really nothing you can do, except maybe to use a headband.

Either you cut all your hair that length, or you can have the bangs go all the way across your forehead, not just sides.

When I was 2-9 I had hair down to the middle of my back but then I bobbed it and it still hasn't grown back in the 4 years I've been growing it....It's only down like 1/2 inch under my shoulders. I use the Garnier Length and Strength system and I trim the ends about once a month. But it still isn't growing....

Hair only grows half an inch to an inch per month.
There's no secret fantastic way of making it grow.. I wish there was though.
Try getting clip in extensions or full blown extensions.
Look at your local craigslist website (google your city's name and craigslist) and click on the beauty link in the services column.
You could also go to different salons and get an estimate before you get your extensions done.
They can be pretty pricy and hard to upkeep.. so you should probably read about them before you get them.

my hair is pretty long at the moment (more than 13 inches long lol) and i want shorter hair. My hair is pretty damaged from past coloring and perming mishaps, but i find that if i stop coloring and other chemical things (perming, relaxing, etc.) my hair looks like how it used to look before i started with dying my hair. i kno wat ur talkin about ur hair like the layers being really short and the rest of ur hair being long and if u get a whole bunch more layers it will look fine u wont have to get it cut short
try a sunless tanner but not a really dark one tho just like a lotion or moisturizer that has a hint of sunless tanner
make sure all the makeup u use is oil free and non-comedegenic so u wont break out but also make sure to never wear makeup when u work out or are gonna be doing anything that might cause u to sweat cuz even oil free makeup will clog ur pores when ur working out
use a multi colored bronzer to get a natural looking glow
have u ever died ur hair maybe u should go a little darker with ur hair cuz blue eyes really pop with brown hair
pinky beige lip gloss will give u just a little bit of color but stil look natural
and for ur teath try brushing with baking soda a couple times a week just mix a little bit with some water to make a paste and then brush

Get a good haircut and tell then you want to keep at much length as possible, maybe have proper layers put in rather than chopping it all to one length.
Make-up wise go for a tinted moisturiser, Nivea do a good one for pale skin. You could also try using the moisturiser with a little fake tan in it for a bit of a glow. Go for grey eyeshadow and liner rather than blue and brown masacra not black, a light cream blush (better than powder if you are not using foundation) and sheer lip gloss with a hint of pink will make your teeth look whiter.
you sound like you are thinking about all this far too much. first of all mayb focus on one thing at a time. i doubt if you are a teenager (unless you are smoking) that the colour of your teeth are all that bad!
as for ya hair thank god it grows is all i can say! if you hate the layers then have a fe inches cut off the bottom so they are not so drastic and then im afraid you will just have to wait for it to grow!
now to skin colour - i live in the uk and we have moisturisers with fake tan in them. in a spray or cream. its not drastic so you wont look orange but gives u a nice glow and it washes off..... im sure you can find something similar where eva u live. johnsons holiday skin is an example

If you wanna keep your long hair and dont want layers, you could have some feathers put in or maybe a side fringe that is feathered in. Layers can start to look ragged after a while.
For a pale complexion, dont not go for pale nude shades. You need more vibrant colours that 'Stand out', so for eyeshadow maybe purple or green and lots of black mascara, follwed by liquid eyeliner and kohl eyeliner underneath in black. These will bring out the blue. NEVER EVER wear blue eyeshadow if you have blue eyes. It is a common mistake to make.
For lips, go for a darker shade of pink, such as a deep fushsia pink or a reddy sort of pink. Dont go for browny pink. Coraly pink is also nice too.
I am a young african american woman with thick hair and it was once long but i ended up cutting it into a bob and i have been trying 2 grow it out back to the length it was but i didnt realize it was so damaged and i have been oiling it every three days or so and keeping it in a roller wrap but i want to know what elase could i do to grow it out more.
Keep it very clean...please don't cover your hair in oil! That won't help with any breakage or problems. I suggest you wash your hair twice a week, and use a thick conditioner in your hair. Rinse out, and they towel dry your hair. Finish by putting some leave in conditioner...this will jelp correct any damage and help speed up the repairing of your hair. And, then all you have to do is wait. There aren't any special secrets to growing hair except keeping it clean, healthy, and letting it grow on it's own.
P.S. For shampoo and conditioner, I love Pantene. And for leave in conditioner, Garnier makes a good one!

Umm maybe you have split ends. Split ends prevent your hair from growing longer so i think you should have like an appointment with the hair salon or whatever every month so they can trim your hair and remove all the split ends :) trust me, You do not want split ends. Hope I can help :)

If you braid your hair really tight that will make it grow faster. But when I cut my hair really short and wanted it to grow faster I rubbed coconut oil on it and it I grew like 2 inches in a month and a half.

The picture of the hair cut is with an African/American woman. Do you think you'd get the same effect with your non A/A hair? I think the classic wedge cut would look better. i dont think it would look bad but it might be high maintenance. For your features I would go dark with golden touches.
It's a risky cut, but yeah if you do a long bob to the one you showed it should work out, but remeber you have to blow dry it straight all the time to show off the cut, (can you be botherd to do that)??. Now as for the colour, go for 1 shade darker than your own hair. I think you have the face to pull it off. but you have short hair at the front (bangs) not sure how that will affect your cut, you will have uneven hair. Check with the hairdresser and see what they say.

I looked in to this a while back (no companies in the UK replied to me though), most sites I saw had a minimum cut hair length of 10 inch but 12 inch or longer was ideal.
Generally you need to wash your hair the day before cutting then tie the hair in a band below the cut point. If the hair touches the floor it becomes useless.

I would say about a year to a year and half (maybe even longer since you will need to get periodic trims to cut off any split ends) if you need it to grow 6+ inches (since hair normally grows a half an inch per month).
If you want to make it quiker, I'd suggust you add doing a deep conditioning %26amp; hot oil treatment into your routine (once a week for each is fine). That way, you will be less likely to have split ends %26amp; need a trim. Also, maybe take a hair/nails vitamin %26amp; make sure you drink lots of water. (if you are dehydrated, it will show in your hair b/c the new growth will be dry)
I have been taking NourishHair (got it at GNC or $18 for a 2 month supply) for the past 2 months. Have very thick hair,not frizzy and the bob haircut is flat on the top and very full at the sides even when I part it on the side. a hair dresser can thin it for you. but if your hair is thick it's best to go a little longer than a bob and get layers. LOTS of layers.
a teasing comb and hair spray can do wonders. just tease at the top and with a little hair spray (beginners spray the comb, when you get more used to it spray your hair).
I'm NOT kidding about the THICK- I have enough hair for 3 people, even at medium length I get charged extra for colorings because they have to make 2 batches! Everyone says they 'want' my hair- they can have it- takes forever to wash and dry, pulls and gives me headaches in a pony tail if it's too long...usually just wear it up. From experience, I know that a shoulder-length, angled cut is great. Have your stylist angle the front of your hair to contour to the sides of your face. (Similar to the "Rachel" cut from "Friends"). It makes your face seem a little bit more long. Don't go too short, because that will make you look as round as could be!

Alright, here's some advice that anyone with thick hair can use, keep it long or short. If it's between your chin and your shoulders, it'll have that triangle shape. Keep it out of the "danger zone" and it'll look great.
For you, I think longer hair would look good. You won't have to do anything to it, but you can straighten it if you want.

That process was called *finger-waving* It was practiced a lot in Beauty school. It is difficult to do it on your own hair. Perhaps call a school for beauticians and find out if they still need finger-waving as a requirement. You can see how they do it and perhaps you can then try it at home.
Use a barrel curler it looks like a crimper but the part that curls your hair is rounded rather than pointed. They are called finger waves they can be difficult to do, but if you just want to get them done for one occasion go to a salon they should know how to do them. Or look it up. the barrel curler is just an easy way to get the same type of look...

fingerwaves. you can wear it like that or fingerwave it, sit under the dryer to dry it, then comb it out. it will last a couple of days.
i have quite a short bob, and love it in a messy style, ie. some layers flicking out, and just basically all messed up. however, i haven't found any decent gels or waxes that i can use. my hair is pretty healthy but quite dry at the ends. could you all recommend me a product which is widely sold, as i don't want to spend too much money. thanks, and any suggestions appreciated.
If you have a short bob with layers and want a flipped out look, first when blowdrying your hair, flip your head upside down and blowdry blowing down on the back of your head. Then i always use Bed Head Manipulator its green and comes in a little jar it cost a little more but you dont need a whole bunch, just little on the tip of your finger should do. Lastly when you flip your head back up you might just need to give it a little fixing here and there and you should be ready to go. My secret is, if you want a messy look don't try to be perfect.
I like the Aussie products and I actually sell Avon and their hair care is really wonderful. They have something for every type of hair and can really get it healthy.
use PAUL MITCHELLE'S DRY HAIR WAX. that stuff works really good and keeps your hair in the same style. its a little pricey for how small the container is but totally worth it.

For messy hair some products I recommend are:
Bedhead, American Crew, or BIGSEXYHAIR.
I had a cut like that for quite a while- some products I like are- garnier fructis surf hair, bed head manipulator and pantene styling wax spray. With the last one it is best to spray into your hands- you get better control over where your product goes that way.
Try using tresemme mousse. This will give hold to your hair and control it without giving it that stiff look. Bed head manipulator and Bed Head mastermind are also great products to use.

Well, I live in Texas wher eits about 120 degrees, year round, and this summer i have guard camp and this hair just wont due! Its about an inch thick when I pinch ahold of it (not in pony tail, just flat)

- Read the book and visit the sites below about curly hair. I did and my once horrible curly hair is now virtually frizz-free ringlets. Now I get compliments on my hair all the time! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to manage your curly hair- be happy for life!
- To style your hair using the curly-girl method you will need gel, a leave in cream, and conditioner at the minimum. Some less useful, but still nice stuff would be a blowdryer, a diffuser (reduces frizz in curly/wavy hair when used with dryer), and a microfiber hair turban (to dry wet hair while sleeping or in the morning).
-The main philosophy of the curly-girl method is to not use shampoo. This may sound unhygenic but it has actually made my hair less oily and dandruffy. Most shampoos contain some of the same chemicals found in laundry detergent (sodium laureth sulfate, sodum lauryl sulfate, ammonium laureth sulfate, ammonium lauryl sulfate, etc.). They dry out curly hair. Also you shouldn't brush your curly hair dry because it damages the hair and makes it poof.
- Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt is all that is needed. It will clean everything but super clingy silicones (cyclopentasiloxane and dimethicone are examples). Then rinse and spread conditioner on the outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse with cold/cool water.
- Do not brush/comb your hair after this point because it wil disturb the curl pattern (make sure you already have a part). It is also important to use gel on sopping wet hair and scrunch the hair with your fingers. Make sure gel is evenly distributed everywhere in your hair. If you use too much you can always scrunch out the crunchy texture later.
- Use paper towels or an old t-shirt to gently scrunch some of the water out (generic towels can make hair frizz). You can either let your hair air dry or wait ten minutes and then use a blowdryer with a diffuser. Dry until your hair is almost dry, and then let air dry the last bit. Do not touch the hair while it is air drying or it will frizz!
- Use a moisturizing conditioner, such as Desert Essence Organics Italian Red Grape Conditioner (found at health food/organic stores) or Activate Hydrating Conditioner (drugstore). The combo of products that I use daily is L'Oreal Out of Bed Weightless Texturizer (comes in a black-colored tub) and then Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Gel or Body Envy Gel, but there are more conditioners, gels, etc. on the websites. The products I recommended are my personal favorites and contain no silicones or drying alcohols.
- Your hair may seem worse at first, but it is just adjusting. This may take a couple weeks to begin working. Before you decide to quit shampoo, do a final cleanse with shampoo and stop the use of any products with silicones in them. Pressing hair or Relaxer?
I have curly, thinning hair and would like to wear my hair straight.Which one do you think I should do just press my hair out when I go to salon or should I get a hair relaxer.I just recently had my hair cut short into a bob.(not by choice,had some issues)Now I dont think my hair looks good curly and so short.I had my hair pressed and it looks good ,nice and straight and I can comb it.lol Now I dont know what to do to keep getting it pressed for now .Or just try a relaxer.I have had a relaxer a few years back ,but my hair was also a whole lot thicker then.What to do?Relaxer or flat iron use .......

Personally , I wont go with chemical solutions on my hair ever again. My hair was in really nice shape until I permed it last fall. I would suggest using a flat iron and not using chemical solutions on it.
i personally like flat iron but if u like the relaxer it might work. the flat iron (on my hair) didnt make my hair straight for too long so id go w/ the relaxer
buy a ceramic hair straightener that is what the salons use, it has to be ceramic in order for best results, good luck :0) oh and use a hair gel for extra hold

If you go for the relaxer try the one for childrens it is safer - however, it can still make your hair thinner.
as far as the flat iron use a ceramic one, and get one that will not pull out your hair. They break your hair alot.

Relaxers are so bad for your hair, they dry it out SO bad and with short hair...I don't think it's a good idea b/c if it messes it up then you don't have much hair to cut off...I HIGHLY reccomend the CHI straightener...It is AWESOME! I recently got one and have super thick curly hair, prior to my CHI I had a $30 straightener from Target and it would take me 70 minutes to make my hair straight, with my CHI, it takes about 15-20 minutes and it stays straight until I wash it...it's great and it doesn't dry out my hair. I get SO many compliments when I wear it like that now when before I didn't! :) Hope this helps! Oh, and the CHI is pricey but you can find one on ebay a little cheaper but it SO worth the $$, it also has a lifetime warranty on it so it will be the last one you ever buy too! Have a good one!

well first you need to add "red-out" to your hair dye before you dye your hair. go the the beauty saloon and ask for "red-out" it should be less than 3 dollars and it's in a little tiny Tube. It Prevents your hair from going red and helps the hair dye do it's job. You just add it to your hair dye before you shake it up. I have dark brown and Black hair, when I was little my mom Died my hair gold and it came out beautiful, when I got older I tryed to do it and it came out straigt red! then my mom told me about Red out, and now I have beautiful goldish Blondish hair.
as far as what color and where. If you don't want to dye your whole head then, Dye just the tod of your head, part in into a diamond in the top, and dye that part, when it falls it will look slightly stricked, but more sun kissed or natural.
Or you can go for the "dipped look" just die the tip of your hair, I would go with a reddish color.
as far as color, if you have dark brown hair I would go for a Burgundy or reddish color. Gold is pretty too!

I dont think you should do it...your head is one size from top to bottom...that type of hair cut i think looks good on heart shaped heads...and besides your hair is to pretty to cut!

I had the opposite situation going on. I LOVE long hair. I have always had it pretty long. My boyfriend wanted me to cut it shorter. So I compromised with 2 inches last week. Now it's half an inch below my bra line. Although it wasn't a big difference, he did notice and liked it. Maybe you should do the same. You should let your hair grow a bit more than what it is now. Maybe not long, but long enough for the two of you to be happy.

Short hair moves long hair in the physics of hair. I agree with layers with some subtle "thinning" underneath to hold those layers up. It would not make your hair look thinner - but rather hold the layers up and make them look ffuller. Again, I agree that a volumizing product is important.
A bob would also be good - depending on how wavy your hair is it will graduate itself if it is cut into a bob.
Once again, I cannot stress the importance of a pre-service consultation with a reputable hairdresser because there are so many factors that we take into account - such as how much time you want to spend with your hair, what products do you use, face shape, body type, and your style in general.

I would go with something shoulder length and layers. Leave the curls. Have the stylist work with your hair in it's natural state. The more you do to hair (bonding, perming, coloring) the more likely you are to damage it. SInce your hair is thin...you don't want to risk damaging it.

Short hair can look great on someone who is bigger. Make sure you have a lot of volume though as it will balance you out. Go for a layered bob if a bob is what you are after, although I think razor cut styles can look fantastic, such as the one on the top right of my link.
I think that a lot of people recommend that heavier women get shorter hair styles to show off their faces and bring attention to that. I personally don't like short hair, but try using photoshop to put a short haircut onto your body if you can to test that way.

I think that short (well, not T'Pol short) hair can look great on anyone, plus size or not. I actually found that when I had really long hair I hid behind it all the time. When I cut my hair chin length I felt very cute and flirty and had more self-confidence. Not saying that this will necessarily happen for you, but I think if you want to, go for it! I have heard that if your face is round you shouldn't go shorter because it would make the roundness of your face more obvious. If you aren't sure you should try going to a website where you can try on hairstyles. about 10 months i had my hair cut into a bob just above shoulder length. I really liked it apart form the fact i have long hair and could not let it dry oin its own otherwise it looked ridiculous! this was a problem with being a swimming teacher and it always being wet.

Most people don't realize it, but having short hair is harder to deal with than long hair. Long hair can be pulled back in a ponytail while working out or if you just don't feel like messing with your hair....but short hair HAS to be fixed.
If you want to straighten your hair, buy a good ceramic flat iron. One thing about flat irons....you don't have to straighten it daily! Depending on how oily your hair gets, you can let it go for up to 1 week. But, you need a good 15-20 minutes to straighten you hair (especially if it's thick). Once you get the hang of the flat iron, you'll cut that time down. Keep in mind too, the flat iron is eventually going to damage your hair, especially if you have to wash your hair and straighten it every day.
If you want to cut your hair short, ask your stylist to cut your hair so that you can let it go natural or straighten it and it will look good both ways. Good luck!

I am from Knoxville, TN, moved here this past December and have had two terrible hair experiences so far and I am not looking to have another. if you really want longer hiar, then just get extensions.
they come in many colors and its an easier way to get a natural look.
just make sure if you do that its 100% real human hair.

definatly curl it. Curl some pieces in small tight curls and others in bigger looser curls. You may need someone to help you with this as your hair is so short. After the curling, spray some light hair spray, and run your fingers through it. It'll look great, and you can do it.

If you have bangs, side swipe them to one side. Secure it with a hairpin that accents your dress.

My friend has hair like yours and for her banquit she had a simple silver pin. She took one side of the front (the thicer side), and swept it bak (not tight but so that it almost looped bak). I would stick with the supper duper skinny curling iron.
Style the back by seperating small sections of the hair and curling it under with the iron. I woluld then get some sort of pretty hair orniment, such as a few glitter clips, take a few strands of hair and pull them away from your face with them. Curl the front either with a few spirals or bob it under.
I used to have short hair and went through similar problems.
Tip: Make sure that you use a wide toothed comb after dousing your hair with hairspray in the back. It seperates the curls, making it look like it took forever to curl the tiny little sections.

My hair is short and what I had done was twistys. I did it all the way around to the middle so I could put it all in to a pony tail.... instead of a pony tail you could (using the small curling iron) curl them,. If you cant do twistys yourself go to different hair places and ask all the hairstylists (the one girl who did mine charged 20$.) If you cant find one that will give you a good price. Ask someone who has it done. The guy I worked with his wife does braids and his niece does twistys. Everyone loves under the table money

This is what i do.
Take flintstones multivitamins along with fish oil pill/supplement daily, meaning everyday, for the fish, take it 3 times per day.
Dont tease/comb/brush your hair soo much. Just as much as needed, so your not excessivly pulling out hair.
Stay away from unnescesarry heat. Let it dry naturally with rollers or something to get it smooth instead. No hair blower, flat iron etc.
Wash it daily
wear a silk hair bonnet at night to reduce friction between ur hair n the pillow. It minimizes breakage while you sleep!
Thats about it. Im african american/Cherokee indian and they say black hair grows slow. But thats totally wrong since mines grows a little less than and inch per month. I had a bob in august but mines is starting to creep down and almost twoards the middle of my back with little of no breakage. Im sure your hair grows way faster than mines, so by summer you will have a nice long head of hair, maybe like a good 4 inches or so.. We have the same goals by the way! lol good luck!

i have found that i hav longish hair and i like the length and it stayed str8er than when it woz shoulder length. lots of people have told me i would suit a bob but im afraid my hair will sit out and not stay straight or do you think the opposite? thanks
The weight of ur hair makes ur hair straighter the longer it is. Mine does this too. If u go too short..it will probably look a lil fuller but wavy. I always blow dry mine with a flat brush to help keep it straight. Good luck!
It depends on ur hair type. don't get ur hair cut and expect it to be SUPER straight, but yes it will be less wavy because it wont be resting on ur shoulders. alot of peoples hair curl because of how it rests on ur shoulder. MINE ALWAYS FLIPS OUT!!

I have a bob (like Rhianna's new do, but its light brown and has platinum blonde highlights), and its supposed to stay straight. Only, it doesn't. Every time I take a shower, it curls. I recently got a bob haircut that looks best when it's a little messy. Unfortunately, I can only achieve this two days after washing it-before then it just sits there and looks bad. Bedhead makes a lot of good, gooey type products for this stuff..... or maybe find a lighterweight pomade or sheen spritz that will make hair a little more oily.
Use a wax or a pomade with a little hairspray...seems to work for me!

I got long, thick, black hair (with thick strands). I am a little 'heavy weight'. :) I always turn to bob hair when I'm getting a cut but I got tired of it, then I got a V-shape/cut and layered, but I didn't like it because my hair is frizzy and its everywhere especially when it is windy outside. I really hate it! The only thing I like about my hair is, it is naturally thick as well its strands.

Go to a beautician and get some suggestions on how to care for that beautiful head of hair! Y'may have to try multiple solutions, but have patience. If y'don't like how it looks right now, it'll grow out in a few weeks and you can try a whole new look. As for split ends - that can be fixed without too much trouble - again, go to a professional beautician. If y'don't like what the first one says or does, next time patronize a different one. Just don't panic over it; life throws enough serious crap at us without getting all worked up over so transient a thing as hair styles.

When I was pregnant with my second son (about a year ago) had my nearly shoulder-length hair cut short (very similar to how it looks in my avatar's picture :)) and now I'm tired of it. It's a precision cut, tapered at the neck and over the ears, and I'm tired of having to get it trimmed every six weeks. It's been several months now, and really, I'm starting to feel like a rag mop, lol. My hair grows right about at the average...1/2 inch per month, give or take. It really is looking sort of scruffy, even when I style it. What would you guys suggest..having a tiny bit taken off every few months, just to keep it "manageable looking" or just let it grow and have it cut every six months or so, so I can just grow it out and have it done with? If I have keep having a tiny bit trimmed off, it seems like it's going to take forever to get back to a long bob, which is what I'm aiming for. Advice?
Ok here are a few tips:
Talk with a stylist. You should get trimmed every 8 wks to keep split ends at bay and this will help keep your hair in somewhat of a shape or style while it is growing in. In my opinion it helps to talk with a stylist and let her know what your hair goals are. She can help you possiblly pick out a few "in between" stlyes to work towards until you get to your ultimate goal. This way you can still have a stylish look without cutting your ahir short again. For ex. if you want your ahir to be below your shoulders-with or without layers-you could work toward some form of a chin or below chin bob first and then work toward letting the bob grow out. Your stylist can work with you to help you reach your goals and sometimes during the growing our phase you'll reach a point when you want to cut it all off again, but she can give you some ideas that can help you get passed that.
The growing out stage is great. Really. I love the different looks along the way. My favourite is putting up the bang section in little clips on the top of my head. It looks so chic. Also, try putting some Dove curling mousse in it when its wet and dry your hair upside down when wet scrunching it along the way. It makes a wild sexy curl. Enjoy this growing out stage.
I'd say get it cut every several months, but make sure to get it layered and not a blunt cut, it will be easier to grow out. While it's growing out, try using clips or headbands which are popular again to hide it while it's in the crazy stage.

What if you were to use gel or something similar to get your hair to stay back? You can also use hairbands and clips to keep you hair tucked out of the way.

try just pulling a portion of your hair, near center of forehead, back and pinning it there with bobbi pins.
with that you can have it go straight back or to either side. other then that you can always ask the person who cut it, what you could do to style it. They normally won't charge you anything, if they're a good stylist.

You and me both!! But i asked for a bob and ended up almost with a crop - i find that the ( i think its VO5 or fuctis) surf look works - it doesnt make your hair heavy but you can muss it up - its not greasy either and it generally brushes out. Just warm a lkittle in your handss and then work it from the root outwards - also perhaps try to scrunch the back and sides and perhaps straighten the front for a different look. Either dont brush it...BAck comb it...force it to fall in a parting it doesnt normally. Use lotsof hair pins etc and make it funky....or use that guys surfer gell stuff.
maybe you could get some good gel or even hair glue and while its wet put some in your hands and run your hands all over your head let it dry and it should come out lookin messy. when my hair was short thats what i did

use hair gel or some wax...u could make ur hair looked beached, which is a really cool look. try spiking it only at the tips. someone with short hair that i saw the otha day had done them into tiny pigtails, it looked awesome. also try playing around with lots and lots of hair clips...that also looks great if done properly

why not wash your hair and dry it up side down! this will creat body and volume, then rub a little of wax on your fingers and twist the ends of your hair, this will creat texture! i always find that when i have short hair its so easy to creat that sexy bouncy hair, flat hair is out and body is back! And why not get some tongs and add some curls...... its so easy. the next day all you have to do is shake your hair and your ready. Good luck
let it dry naturally after you have washed it, then get some styling wax or mud and just mess it up a bit with your hands, play around with it till you get it right, good luck
God that used to happen to me too... was the hairdresser female?? First find a new hairdresser men are best they make you look and feel fabulous.... and always talk to you about what your after... Now the styling problem..when washed before drying add some volume moose... dry hair upside down... like bend over and dry that way this will give it lots of volume,,, then do a bit of back combing and spray in place..... hope this helps...
I'd go back to the salon and get it cut into something you like.....make sure u do it soon, they will only honor free re-dos for so long
