What to do with relaxed hair?

My hair is naturally curly, frizzy, and huge. I used to straighten it with a hair dryer, but it would frizz in the slightest humidity. I've been relaxing it for close to 20 yrs., and now it's so straight, I have trouble getting it to take a curl at the ends. (I use one of those "styler" dryers, not the "gun" type. I also use a hot-air curling brush on my bangs, and they curl fine, as long as I start when they are wet. I also have ceramic curling iron, but even that doesn't get the ends to curl under.)

Anyway, my hair is basically in good condition (according to my hair stylist) but I'm tired of the long, straight look. I'd like to cut it shorter, but a bob with bone-straight hair doesn't look too good.

If anyone has any suggestions about styling tools, gels, anything, it would be really appreciated.

What you should do is get a blow dryer with a defuser, Then wash your hair and get mousse and crump it and use the defuser and then put hairspray it should make it curly.

go with the bob cut

i think the bob could work or maybe you could consider getting it cut to shoulder length with short or long layers, and maybe to add volume get it thickened ?? to curl my hair i spray on heat defence spray and use a ghd then spray it with hairspray it works better than any curling iron for me!

Use shampoo and conditioner formulated to create curls, then use styling products for curly hair too (i like Aveda's Be Curly line). Dry hair without a brush, then use a curling iron if you still need it. use a bit of hair spray to help it hold.
