what to do? grow out the layers and get a bob cut to the tops of my shoulders or keep getting it layered? That's what the hair stylers like to do, but I'm getting really tired of the same look all the time. (the length of my top layer and bangs are 8 inches) and the rest graduate from there to 2 or 3 in. past shoulder line. What to do.... what to do?

you should ask them to use thining sheers on your hair whenever you get it cut that way it will take off some wieght and you can try a new look!

Super thick hair in a bob will look funny. If you want all one length you will need to grow it longer.
Yes, layers work great on thick hair, but maybe you need some new styling ideas such as twisting it up in back with a hair clip, or even taking half of it and twisting it around and leaving half down. Maybe the stylist can give you some ideas.
