i got a bobbed haircut,and its up to my chin,with layers. i always wear it down, with a plain pin,and i bet ppl r sick of it. its my woarst nightmare. ppl who have short hair, helppppp!!! ps. i dont look good with curly hair and i have ultimate straight hair...

I love bobs! I have had my hair any kind of cut imaginable. I love to play with it. Short is my fave though. With short hair you can use products to manipulate the texture of your hair. Being straight you can really have fun with it. It can be pumped up with volume (try Root Boost by Catwalk) or super sleek and flat. If you like volume get it mostly dry with a blowdryer and put it in fat rollers and spray. You won't believe how fabulous it is. Stays a long time too because it finishes drying that way. For texture use something like Bedheads Manipulator or something more waxy like wax or a pomade. Call up your stylist that cut your hair. Tell her you are bored and want some fun alternatives to your regular hair. Usually they will do it for a minimal price or some even will do it free. Check out some magazines for how to stuff for your hair type.

You could try parting your hair a different way, such as in the middle or on the side.

You could pin the very front layers/bangs back with bobby pins. If you do this, you could either leave it flat or make it a poofier bouffant.

You could slick it back into a ponytail of sorts and leave the face-framing layers out or pin them back with bobby pins.

You could also pull back the top section of hair and leave some pieces out (or not).

You could also try curling it all under or flipping it all out, depending on what you already do with it.

I have short hair too so i know where you're coming from! I usually either put it in a big clip or bobby pins to the side or you can put it in a pin right on top of your head and kind of tease it and just make it puff up a little. I will vary the pins as well. There are some cute pins out there! Try claire's. Also, you can try headbands. They don't look very good on me but maybe it will look good on you!
